Quidax was founded in 2018 by CEO Buchi Okoro, alongside co-founders Uzo Awili (CTO) and Morris Ebieroma (CIO). The Quidax story began after Buchi Okoro got scammed while trying to sell his Bitcoin for Naira, and the exchange was built in Africa, by Africans, to make crypto accessible to Africans seeking global participation.
Today, Quidax serves millions of retail traders, fintech companies, neobanks, and financial institutions across multiple markets with compliant crypto solutions. We are not just a trading platform. We are building a reliable crypto infrastructure for Africa.
